A round foam cushion with a soft velour cover sits on a hard plastic non-slip base fitted with easy-turn ball bearings. It's especially useful on dining chairs and other flat seats, and can also be used in vehicles. On moulded or bucket-style car seats, fill any gap under the cushion (for example with a folded towel) so it sits flat and the base isn't put under strain.
